Hawthorne Heights ist eine amerikanische Rockband aus Dayton, Ohio. Gegründet 2001, hat die Band im Laufe der Jahre mehrere Besetzungswechsel erlebt. Die aktuelle Besetzung besteht aus J.T. Woodruff (Gesang und Rhythmusgitarre), Micah Carli (Lead-Gitarre), Casey Calvert (Rhythmusgitarre und Backing Vocals), Matt Ridenour (Bass und Backing Vocals) und Eron Bucciarelli (Schlagzeug und Percussion). Ursprünglich hieß die Band A Day in the Life und veröffentlichte 2003 ein gleichnamiges Album. Nach diesem ersten Werk änderte die Band ihren Namen in Hawthorne Heights und nahm ihr Debütalbum *Nine Reasons to Say Goodbye* (2004) auf, das sowohl kommerziellen als auch kritischen Erfolg erzielte.
