Mumm-Ra sono stati una band indie rock inglese originaria di Bexhill on Sea. Il fondatore Niall Buckler aveva solo quattordici anni quando ha formato il gruppo, che prende il nome da Mumm-Ra the Ever-Living, il principale antagonista del cartoon degli anni '80 Thundercats. La band è salita alla ribalta per la prima volta partecipando al NME Awards Indie Rock Tour insieme a The Automatic, The View e The Horrors. Nel gennaio 2007 sono stati anche inclusi nell'edizione di NME come uno dei dieci gruppi che avrebbero "accompagnato" musicalmente il 2007. Nonostante la promettente partenza, Mumm-Ra non hanno pubblicato un album completo.
