INXS ist eine australische Pop-Rock-Band, die von 1977 bis 2012 aktiv war. Als eine der einflussreichsten Gruppen Australiens erlangten sie in den 1980er und 1990er Jahren internationale Bekanntheit mit Hits wie «Suicide Blonde», «Devil Inside» und «Need You Tonight». Ihr charakteristischer Sound kombiniert Elemente des Alternative Rock, Funk und New Wave. Die Band wurde vom charismatischen Frontmann Michael Hutchence geleitet, dessen tragischer Tod 1997 einen Wendepunkt in der Geschichte der Gruppe markierte.
