Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, bekannt weltweit als Lady Gaga (New York, 28. März 1986), ist eine amerikanische Sängerin-Songwriterin, Musikproduzentin und Schauspielerin italienischer Abstammung. Von der Popmusik der 1980er Jahre von Künstlern wie Madonna und Michael Jackson sowie dem Glamrock von David Bowie und Queen (deren sie eine große Bewundererin ist, insbesondere des Frontmanns Freddie Mercury) beeinflusst, wählte sie den Künstlernamen Lady Gaga, inspiriert von dem Lied *Radio Ga Ga* von Queen. Ihre musikalische Karriere begann 2008 mit dem Album *The Fame*, das weltweit großen Erfolg feierte dank Singles wie *Just Dance*, *Poker Face* und *Paparazzi*. Lady Gaga ist bekannt für ihre exzentrische Persönlichkeit, ihre theatralischen Auftritte und ihre mutigen Outfits.
