Quiet Riot ist eine amerikanische Heavy-Metal-Band, die 1975 in Los Angeles von Randy Rhoads (Gitarre) und Kelly Garni (Schlagzeug) gegründet wurde. Nach einer Phase der Besetzungswechsel erreichte die Band internationale Bekanntheit mit dem Album *Metal Health* aus dem Jahr 1983, das den Song *Cum On Feel the Noize* enthielt, eine Coverversion von Slade. Das Album wurde zum ersten Heavy-Metal-Album, das in den USA die Spitze der Billboard 200 Charts erreichte.
