Mott the Hoople waren eine englische Rockband mit starken Wurzeln im R and B und dominierten die Glam-Rock-Ära der frühen bis Mitte der 1970er Jahre. Bekannt sind sie für das Lied "All the Young Dudes", geschrieben von David Bowie und auf ihrem gleichnamigen Album aus dem Jahr 1972 veröffentlicht. Die Band hatte auch mit anderen Singles wie "Roll Away the Stone" und "The Golden Age of Wireless" Erfolg.
