Death By Stereo ist eine Hardcore-Punk-Band, die in Orange County, Kalifornien, um 1996 vom Frontmann Efrem Schulz gegründet wurde. Bekannt für ihre energiegeladenen Auftritte und ihr komplexes Gitarrenspiel, leitet sich der Bandname von dem Horrorfilm *The Lost Boys* aus dem Jahr 1987 ab, in dem Corey Haim den Satz „Death by Stereo“ spricht.
