Chiara Civello è una cantautrice e polistrumentista italiana nata a Roma nel 1978. Dopo aver studiato musica classica al Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia, si è dedicata alla musica jazz e pop, pubblicando il suo album di debutto *Last Quarter Moon* nel 2005. Il suo stile musicale è caratterizzato da una voce calda e melodica, influenzata dal jazz, dalla bossa nova e dalla musica italiana. Nel 2012 ha vinto il Premio Multishow per la miglior canzone dell'anno con *Problemi*, colonna sonora della telenovela brasiliana *Fina estampa*. Tra i suoi album più noti figurano *Canzoni* (2008) e *The Space Between* (2014). Civello è nota anche per le sue collaborazioni con artisti come Paolo Conte, Gilberto Gil e Ryuichi Sakamoto.
