Crimson Glory è un gruppo musicale statunitense formatosi nel 1982 a Tampa, Florida. Considerati pionieri del progressive metal, hanno raggiunto una certa popolarità negli anni '80 e '90 con album come *Transcendence* (1986) e *Strange and Beautiful* (1988). Il loro sound è caratterizzato da melodie elaborate, riff heavy metal e un'influenza progressiva evidente. La voce di Midnight, il cantante del gruppo, era una delle più riconoscibili della scena metal dell'epoca. Dopo diversi cambiamenti di formazione, Crimson Glory si sono sciolti nel 1992. Nel 2006 hanno annunciato il loro ritorno con un nuovo album, *Astronomica*, seguito da altri due dischi negli anni successivi.
