Rhapsody of Fire ist eine italienische Symphonic Power Metal Band aus Trieste. Zuvor bekannt als Rhapsody und Thundercross in ihren Anfängen, zeichnet sich die Gruppe durch den Einfluss klassischer Barockmusik, Neoclassical Metal, mittelalterlicher Musik und Folk aus. Ihre Musik wird hauptsächlich von Filmmusik-Soundtracks wie "Der Herr der Ringe" und Fantasy-Themen inspiriert, was sie dazu brachte, ihre Musik zunächst als "Hollywood Metal" und später als "Film-Score Metal" zu bezeichnen.
