Static-X è un gruppo musicale statunitense di genere industrial metal, formatosi a Los Angeles nel 1994. Il gruppo è noto per il suo sound heavy e aggressivo, caratterizzato da riff distorti, ritmi martellanti e la voce roca del frontman Wayne Static (nato Wayne Richard Wells). Static-X ha raggiunto un grande successo negli anni '90 e 2000 con album come *Wisconsin Death Trip* (1999) e *Shadow Zone* (2001), che hanno venduto milioni di copie in tutto il mondo. Il gruppo è stato influenzato da band come Nine Inch Nails, Ministry e Rammstein. Wayne Static ha collaborato con artisti come Rob Zombie e Marilyn Manson.
