Sparks the Rescue sind eine amerikanische Alternative-Rock-Band aus Portland, Maine. Die Band wurde gegründet, als Mitglieder von drei Highschool-Bands, Pozer, Short of April und Two Girls Later, zusammenkamen. Ihr Debüt-EP *Stumbling Skyward* wurde 2005 unabhängig veröffentlicht, wobei McAllister und O'Connell die Lead Vocals teilten. 2006 veröffentlichte die Band die EP *Hey, Mr. Allure*, bei der der Leadsänger Alex Roy hinzukam. Am 6. Februar 2007 veröffentlichten Sparks the Rescue ihre dritte EP, *The Secrets We Can't Keep*, nachdem sie mit Double Blind Music unterschrieben hatten. Diese Veröffentlichung markierte den Abschied ihres Keyboarders. STR veröffentlichte am 5. Mai 2009 ihr Debütalbum *Eyes to the Sun* bei Fearless Records (das Album war zuvor am 7. Oktober 2008 bei Double Blind Music erschienen). Das Album wurde von Jonathan Wyman von Halo Studios in Westbrook, ME produziert.
