Burning Witches ist eine schweizerische Heavy-Metal-Band, die 2015 in Brugg gegründet wurde. Die aktuelle Besetzung besteht aus Laura Guldemond (Gesang), Jenny 'The Witch' (Gitarre), Romina 'The Ripper' (Bass) und Tina 'The Reaper' (Schlagzeug). Ihr Sound zeichnet sich durch einen Mix aus klassischem Heavy Metal, Power Metal und NWOBHM aus, mit Einflüssen auch aus dem Thrash Metal. Nach der Veröffentlichung ihrer gleichnamigen EP im Jahr 2016 veröffentlichte die Band ihr Debütalbum *Burning Witches* im Jahr 2017. Das Album wurde von Kritikern gut aufgenommen und trug dazu bei, die Band einem internationalen Publikum bekannt zu machen. 2019 folgte das zweite Album *The Circle Unbroken*, welches ihren Erfolg weiter festigte. Burning Witches sind für ihre energiegeladenen Live-Auftritte und ihren traditionellen Ansatz zum Heavy Metal bekannt. Zu den bekanntesten Songs gehören 'Hexenhammer', 'Wings of the Storm' und 'The Circle Unbroken'.
