Der musikalische text SADIE von GRATITUDE ist auch in dem Album vorhanden Gratitude (2005)
Gratitude è un gruppo musicale statunitense formatosi nel 2000 da Mark Weinberg (ex-Crumb) e Thomas Becker. Inizialmente chiamati The Collision, la band ha poi ingaggiato Bob Lindsey al basso e Robby Cronholm (anche lui ex-Crumb) come cantante. Dopo aver fatto tour nel 2002 con New End Original, che comprendeva Jonah Matranga e Jeremy Tappero di Far, Cronholm ha lasciato il gruppo per essere sostituito da Matranga. Con l'ingresso di quest'ultimo, la band ha cambiato nome in Gratitude. Dopo aver firmato con Atlantic Records, hanno aggiunto Tappero come secondo chitarrista prima di entrare in studio. Durante le registrazioni del loro album d'esordio, Becker ha lasciato il gruppo e David Jarnstrom è entrato a far parte della formazione. L'album omonimo è stato pubblicato l'8 marzo 2005 da Atlantic Records. I singoli "Drive Away" e "This Is The Part" hanno ricevuto un'ampia diffusione radiofonica sia negli Stati Uniti che nel Regno Unito. Il primo tour di Gratitude a supporto dell'album ha visto la band aprire per Jimmy Eat World (con cui sono spesso paragonati) e partecipare al Warped Tour 2005 e ad una parte del Taste Of Chaos 2005.
