Kittie è un gruppo musicale alternative metal canadese formatosi a London, Ontario, nel 1996 dalle sorelle Morgan Lander (voce) e Mercedes Lander (batteria). Completano la formazione l'attuale chitarrista Fallon Bowman e il bassista Tanya Candori. Il loro debutto discografico, *Spit*, uscito nel 1999, ha riscosso un grande successo grazie al singolo *Brackish*. Il gruppo è noto per il suo sound aggressivo e le performance energiche, influenzato dal nu metal e dal thrash metal.
