Carcass ist eine britische Extreme-Metal-Band, die 1985 gegründet und 1995 aufgelöst wurde. Die Band fand 2008 ohne ihren ursprünglichen Schlagzeuger Ken Owen wieder zusammen. Carcass gilt als eine der einflussreichsten Death-Metal-Bands, dank ihres technischen und aggressiven Stils, der dazu beitrug, die Ästhetik und den Sound des Extreme Metals in den 1990er Jahren zu definieren.
