Il cinquantaseiesimo Eurovision Song Contest si è tenuto dal 10 al 14 maggio 2011 presso l'Esprit Arena di Düsseldorf, in Germania. La scelta della città tedesca come sede del contest fu conseguenza della vittoria di Lena Meyer-Landrut con il brano "Satellite" nell'edizione precedente.
