OSI è un supergruppo sperimentale progressive americano formatosi nel 2003 dal chitarrista dei Fates Warning Jim Matheos. Il nome si riferisce all'Office of Strategic Influence, breve agenzia governativa statunitense istituita poco dopo l'11 settembre per produrre e promuovere propaganda a favore degli Stati Uniti nei media nazionali e internazionali. Matheos ha riunito un gruppo di musicisti di spicco del progressive metal, tra cui il bassista Tony Levin (King Crimson), il batterista Kevin Moore (Dream Theater) e il cantante/tastierista Marco Sfogli (Unexpect). Il loro debutto omonimo è stato accolto con grande entusiasmo dalla critica per la sua complessità musicale e le atmosfere dark. OSI ha pubblicato altri tre album, "The Secret World", "Blood" e "Platinum", consolidando la propria posizione come una delle band progressive più innovative degli ultimi anni.
