Before Their Eyes è una band post-hardcore proveniente da Findlay, Ohio. Attualmente sotto contratto con Rise Records, il gruppo è stato fondato inizialmente dal vocalist Nick Moore e da Jim Nahorny, già membro di "The Drama Summer". Il nome della band deriva dal versetto del Nuovo Testamento Romani 3:18: «Non c'è paura di Dio davanti ai loro occhi». Un mese dopo la sua formazione, Jim Nahorny ha lasciato il gruppo per concludere gli studi universitari e dedicarsi ad altri progetti. La canzone "Their Throats are Open Graves" trae ispirazione dal versetto Romani 3:13. Il secondo album della band, *The Dawn of My Death*, è stato pubblicato il 28 ottobre 2008 e ha raggiunto la posizione numero 10 nella classifica Billboard Heatseekers.
