Field Music ist eine Indie-Rock-Band aus Sunderland, England. Gegründet 2004 besteht die Band aus den Brüdern David und Peter Brewis (Peter spielte zuvor bei der Band The Futureheads aus Sunderland) sowie Andrew Moore. Im Laufe der Jahre waren Mitglieder von Maximo Park und The Futureheads Teil der Besetzung. Vor Field Music arbeiteten die Brüder Brewis an anderen Musikprojekten wie The New Tellers und Electronic Eye Machine. Ihr Sound zeichnet sich durch komplexe Arrangements, psychedelische Einflüsse und einen Hauch von eingängigem Pop aus.
