Elliott Smith, pseudonimo di Steven Paul Smith (1969-2003), è stato un cantautore e musicista statunitense noto per la sua musica introspettiva e malinconica. Nato a Omaha, Nebraska, Smith si trasferì in Oregon durante l'adolescenza, dove iniziò a suonare la chitarra e comporre canzoni.
