I The Academy Is... sono stati un gruppo alternative rock/emo-pop statunitense proveniente da Barrington, un sobborgo di Chicago. Inizialmente si chiamavano semplicemente "The Academy", ma nel 2004 aggiunsero il suffisso "Is..." per evitare controversie legali con altri gruppi aventi lo stesso nome.
