REO Speedwagon ist eine amerikanische Rockband, die Ende der 1960er Jahre in Champaign, Illinois, gegründet wurde. Der Name stammt von einer alten amerikanischen Kutsche, die Waren und Passagiere transportierte. Die ursprüngliche Besetzung bestand aus Kevin Cronin (Gesang), Neal Doughty (Keyboard), Gary Richrath (Gitarre), Bruce Hall (Bass) und Alan Gratzer (Schlagzeug).
