Centinex war eine schwedische Death-Metal-Band, die 1990 gegründet wurde. Sie lösten sich am 12. April 2006 auf. Sie waren für ihr letztes Konzert in einem bereits gebuchten Event in Eskilstuna, Schweden, am 13. Mai 2006, vorgesehen, annullierten dies aber später. Als eine der einflussreichsten Bands des melodischen Death Metals gelten Centinex sechs Studioalben zwischen 1994 und 2005 veröffentlicht.
