Emmylou Harris ist eine US-amerikanische Singer-Songwriterin, geboren in Alabama im Jahr 1947. Sie gilt als eine der einflussreichsten Country-Sängerinnen der 1970er Jahre und darüber hinaus. Sie hat es geschafft, Folk-, Country- und Rockelemente zu einem einzigartigen Sound zu verschmelzen.
