Der Song, veröffentlicht am 25. Januar 2013, ist die zweite Singleauskopplung aus Zuccheros zwölften Studioalbum 'La sesión cubana'. Der Text wurde von dem Texter Pasquale Panella mitgeschrieben und das Musikvideo wurde komplett in Havanna gedreht.

Zucchero, pseudonimo di Adelmo Fornaciari (Reggio nell'Emilia, 25 settembre 1955), è un cantautore e musicista italiano considerato uno dei più importanti interpreti del blues mediterraneo. La sua musica fonde elementi di soul, blues americani e tradizione musicale italiana, creando un sound originale e riconoscibile a livello internazionale. Dopo gli esordi negli anni '80 con album come "Il volo", Zucchero ha raggiunto la fama mondiale con "Blu" (1991) e "Miserere" (1996), quest'ultimo realizzato in collaborazione con Pavarotti. Tra i suoi brani più celebri figurano "Senza una donna", "Diavola", "Baila (Sexy Thing)" e "Il mare". Zucchero ha collaborato con numerosi artisti internazionali, tra cui Bono Vox degli U2, Sting e Eric Clapton.
