Crashdïet è una band svedese di sleaze metal formata a Stoccolma nel 2000. Il gruppo si distingue per un sound fortemente influenzato da gruppi come W.A.S.P., Stryper, Guns N' Roses, Mötley Crüe e Hanoi Rocks, con un tocco di violenza ispirato a GG Allin secondo le parole del fondatore e frontman Dave Lepard. Il loro debutto discografico, "Crashdïet", risale al 2005 ed è stato seguito da altri album come "Generation Wild" (2009) e "The Unattractive" (2013). La band ha attraversato diverse formazioni nel corso degli anni, con il chitarrista Martin Sweet che ne è diventato un membro chiave.
