Gli XTC sono stati un gruppo di rock alternativo inglese formatosi a Swindon nel 1972. Guidato da Andy Partridge e Colin Moulding, membri fondatori e principali compositori dei brani, il gruppo guadagnò una certa popolarità durante l'ascesa del punk e della new wave negli anni settanta, eseguendo in seguito la loro musica con una varietà di stili che spaziavano dai riff angolari di chitarra alla musica pop organizzata in modo elaborato.
