Eduardo Teixeira da Fonseca Vasconcellos, bekannt als Edu Falaschi, ist ein brasilianischer Sänger und Musiker, geboren 1973. Er gilt als einer der einflussreichsten Vokalisten des progressiven Metals weltweit. Seine musikalische Karriere begann in den 1990er Jahren mit der Band Almah, doch er ist vor allem für seine über ein Jahrzehnt lange Tätigkeit als Sänger und Songwriter der brasilianischen Band Angra (1993-2006) bekannt. Mit Angra prägte er den Sound des lateinamerikanischen progressiven Metals und erreichte internationale Erfolge mit Alben wie „Angels Cry“ (1998) und „Temple of Shadows“ (2004). Nach seinem Ausstieg aus Angra arbeitete Falaschi weiter mit Almah zusammen und startete eine erfolgreiche Solokarriere. 2016 veröffentlichte er sein erstes Soloalbum „The Fallen Angel“, gefolgt von zwei weiteren, „My Inner War“ (2019) und „The Last Stand“ (2023).
