We Came As Romans ist eine amerikanische Metalcore-Band, die 2005 in Ohio gegründet wurde. Die ursprüngliche Besetzung bestand aus Dave Stephens, Kyle Pavone, Joshua Moore, Lou Cotton und Blake Bargar. Ihr Musikstil zeichnet sich durch einen Mix aus aggressiven Metalcore-Sounds mit melodischen Elementen und nachdenklichen Texten aus, die Themen wie Verlust, Schmerz und Hoffnung behandeln. Zu ihren bekanntesten Alben gehören "To Plant A Seed" (2009), "Understanding What We've Grown To Be" (2011) und "Tracing Back Roots" (2014). 2018 verstarb Pavone tragisch, was eine unüberbrückbare Lücke in der Band hinterließ.
