La Roux ist ein britisches Musikduo, das 2008 in London von Elly Jackson (Gesang) und Ben Langmaid (Produktion, Keyboard) gegründet wurde. Ihr Sound orientiert sich am Synthpop der 1980er Jahre mit Einflüssen von Künstlern wie Yazoo, The Human League, Heaven 17 und Blancmange. Der Name der Gruppe leitet sich von den roten Haaren von Elly Jackson ab. La Roux erreichte 2009 internationalen Erfolg mit dem Single "In for the Kill", der die britischen und europäischen Charts anführte.
