Charlotte Gainsbourg (geboren als Charlotte Lucy Gainsbourg am 21. Juli 1961) ist eine französisch-britische Sängerin, Songwriterin, Schauspielerin und Model. Die Tochter des berühmten französischen Musikers Serge Gainsbourg und der britischen Schauspielerin Jane Birkin erbte die Leidenschaft für die Kunst von beiden Elternteilen. Nach ihrem Start als Model in den 1980er Jahren widmete sie sich der Musik mit ihrem Debütalbum "Lemon Tango" (1999). Ihr Musikstil zeichnet sich durch eine Mischung aus Pop, Elektronik und französischer Chanson aus, oft begleitet von nachdenklichen und poetischen Texten.
