Cannibal rats
Billy Talent ist eine kanadische Rockband, die 1993 unter dem ursprünglichen Namen Pezz gegründet wurde. Die Mitglieder kannten sich schon aus der Schule und nahmen einige Demos auf, bevor sie 1998 ihr erstes offizielles Album veröffentlichten. Ihr Debütalbum *Watoosh!* wurde unabhängig veröffentlicht und erzielte regionalen Erfolg, erreichte aber keine nationale Bekanntheit. 2003 änderte die Band ihren Namen in Billy Talent und veröffentlichte ihr gleichnamiges Album, das einen Wendepunkt für sie markierte.
