Future & the past

Introduction to the madness that is being
alive and in a sense real at this stage
I'm caught up in the trappings of everyday life
like I can't look past something's that shouldn't be bothering me
I know what I've said in the past
judgement rushed made mistakes but I've learned yea to
never stop learning
to look past the doubt that's been keeping me
down that's been keeping this yearning

I second-guess all that I do
core confidence is gone
and all thoughts carry consequence but not to be undone
that other stream of consciousness has taken me so far
beyond the point of some return

Together here at last
It happens when we've passed
The future and the past

It doesn't take much
to experience the knowledge that comes from within
from this light we see shadows
small traces of what we can be who we are
what we've been what we've seen
what we have done through our lifetimes
I know what I've said in the past
