Poets of the Fall sono un gruppo rock indipendente proveniente da Helsinki, in Finlandia. Fondato nel 2003 da Marko Saaresto e Olli Tukiainen, il gruppo ha raggiunto una notevole popolarità internazionale grazie al suo sound melodico e alle liriche introspettive. La formazione attuale comprende Saaresto (voce solista e compositore), Tukiainen (chitarra principale), Markus "Captain" Kaarlonen (tastiere e produzione), Jani Snellman (basso), Jaska Makinen (chitarra ritmica e cori) e Jari Salminen (batteria e percussioni). Tra i brani più rappresentativi del gruppo figurano "Carnival of Rust", "Waiting for the Sun" e "The Happy Song".
