We the Kings sind eine amerikanische Pop-Rock-Band aus Bradenton, Florida. Aktiv seit 2007 ist die Gruppe derzeit bei S-Curve Records unter Vertrag. Ihr selbstbetiteltes Debütalbum erreichte 2007 Platz 151 der Billboard 200 Charts. 2009 veröffentlichten sie ihr zweites Studioalbum *Smile Kid*. Neben mehreren nationalen und internationalen Tourneen produzierten We the Kings auch eine Webserie namens *The King's Carriage*, die das Leben in ihrem Tourbus dokumentiert. Frontmann Travis Clark hat die Idee geäußert, als nächstes ein akustisches Album zu veröffentlichen. Der Bandname stammt vom Namen der Mittelschule, die die Mitglieder besuchten, King Middle School. Zu ihren bekanntesten Songs gehören *Check Yes Juliet* und *Skyway Avenue*.
