Guster was formed in Boston in the early 90s by three college friends Adam Gardner (vocals, guitar) Ryan Miller (vocals, guitar) and Brian Rosenworcel (drums). They recorded and released their first album Parachute independently in 1994. The success of this album brought them into the same line of sight as The Dave Matthews Band and Phish who were also popular at that time.
