Madrugada è un gruppo musicale norvegese formatosi nel 1997. Il nome, che in portoghese e spagnolo significa 'alba', riflette la sonorità malinconica e introspettiva della band. Il sound di Madrugada si colloca nell'ambito del rock alternativo, con influenze provenienti dal post-punk e dalla musica elettronica. La formazione originale comprendeva Sivert Høyem (voce), Rune Grammond (chitarra), Frode Jacobsen (basso) e Lars Horntveth (batteria). Il gruppo ha pubblicato quattro album in studio: *The Deep End* (2001), *Give It a Rest* (2003), *The Golden Cage* (2005) e *Madrugada* (2007).
