Laying down inside
And you say you're not surprised but you were
(Woah)
Now it's raining outside
But if there's rain or not
You can tell you're not okay
From the way you hide
And you're not knowing what the cure is tonight
You can get all defensive silently
Or you can try and accept it all
Let's go
You'll see
The latter's me
I open both my eyes
And nothing's gonna get in the way
I kept the stress alive
I need a change, alright
There's something wrong if you're calm in your life
And you suddenly think
That you're not feeling quitе as you were last week
If you stare at thе state of your yesterdays
Problems await
I'll keep the drama out my head
I could hang with my friends
And be present, instead, for a while
Keep the drama out my life
Get distracted and high for the moment, yeah
I think that's enough stress for one day
No one hears what we say
Either way, they can think what they like
I open up and trust my choice
I'm gon' hang with my boys
And just take time, yeah
Fuck my to-do list and my plans
I'm gon' go to Japan
Take the train, Tokyo to Kyoto
Explore the world, hit Hawaii onto Lanai
We can leave life behind, no problemo (No, oh-oh)
No, it wouldn't mean shit to me
See, the point I'm at right now
What's about to go down
Is uncertain, it seems, every time
So I'm not wasting anymore
Time to explore, for sure, yeah, yeah
(Uh-uh, uh-uh)
I paid the price
I let my feelings get the best of me
And I left myself tonight
Embarrassment delivered
And it comes as no surprise
Feelin' pain right to the limit
And it still won't sympathize
I'll keep the drama out my head
I'm gon' hang with my friends
And just write
I'll keep the drama out my life
We can go where we like, that's right
(Woah)
Turn off the phone and keep it off
It's okay to ignore and log off
