Biografia

Cobra Starship ist eine amerikanische Band aus den Genres Dance-Rock und Synthpop, die 2005 in New York City von dem ehemaligen Bassisten und Sänger von Midtown, Gabe Saporta, gegründet wurde. Neben Saporta gehören zum Ensemble der Gitarrist Ryland Blackinton, der Bassist Alex Suarez, der Schlagzeuger Nate Novarro und die Keyboardistin Victoria Asher, die ebenfalls als Background-Sängerin tätig sind. Ihr Debütalbum *While the City Sleeps, We Rule the Streets* erschien 2006, gefolgt von *¡Viva la Cobra!* im Jahr 2007. Das letzte Studioalbum war *Hot Mess* aus dem Jahr 2009. Cobra Starship ist bekannt für die Hitsingles "Good Girls Go Bad" und "Snakes on a Plane (Bring It)".
