Biografia

Panic! At The Disco ist eine amerikanische Musikgruppe, die 2004 in Las Vegas gegründet wurde. Die ursprünglich aus Rockmusik mit Einflüssen aus Emo und Pop-Punk bestehende Formation sah Brendon Urie als Leadsänger, Gitarristen und Komponisten. Nach mehreren Besetzungswechseln etablierte sich Urie ab 2015 als einziger stabiler Mitglied der Band und transformierte Panic! At The Disco in ein Soloprojekt mit elektronischeren und theatralischen Klängen. Der Durchbruch gelang dem Projekt mit Alben wie „A Fever You Can't Sweat Out“ (2005) und „Pretty. Odd.“ (2008), die Hits wie „I Write Sins Not Tragedies“, „The Ballad of Mona Lisa“ und „Lying Is the Most Fun a Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off“ produzierten. Panic! At The Disco ist bekannt für seine theatralischen und opulenten Live-Auftritte, wobei Urie mit seiner kraftvollen Stimme und seinem Bühnenpräsenz hervorsticht. Die Band gewann mehrere Preise, darunter einen MTV Video Music Award und einen Billboard Music Award.
