I Kid Dynamite sono un gruppo melodic hardcore punk formatosi a Philadelphia, negli Stati Uniti d'America, nel 1997. Il gruppo ha pubblicato tutti i suoi album per la Jade Tree Records, etichetta indipendente nota per il suo supporto al genere hardcore. La loro musica è caratterizzata da riff veloci e melodie orecchiabili, con testi che affrontano temi come l'alienazione, la frustrazione giovanile e la disillusione sociale. Tra le canzoni più rappresentative si ricordano "The Ballad of the Broken Heart", "I Don't Care" e "My Favorite Song".
