Virgin Steele è un gruppo musicale heavy metal epico statunitense formatosi a New York nel 1981. Considerati pionieri del genere, hanno influenzato numerose band successive con la loro musica ricca di melodie classiche, testi epici e arrangiamenti orchestrali. Il gruppo è guidato dal cantante e compositore David DeFeis, noto per il suo stile vocale potente e le liriche elaborate che spesso esplorano temi storici, mitologici e fantastici.
