Jon Hopkins ist ein britischer Musiker und Komponist, geboren in London 1975. Er begann seine Karriere als Musikproduzent und arbeitete mit Künstlern wie Brian Eno und Coldplay zusammen. 2008 veröffentlichte er sein Debütalbum "Insides", das ihn als talentierten elektronischen Musik-Künstler etablierte. Hopkins ist bekannt für seine atmosphärischen und experimentellen Klänge, oft geprägt von hypnotischen Melodien und pulsierenden Rhythmen.
