Eternal Tears of Sorrow (oft abgekürzt als EToS) ist eine finnische Band aus dem Genre Melodic Death Metal, die in Pudasjärvi im nördlichen Ostrobothnien, Finnland gegründet wurde. Romantische Texte und sanfte Keyboard-Melodien zeigen Einflüsse des Gothic Metals. Gegründet 1998 hat die Band sieben Studioalben veröffentlicht, die Elemente des Death Metals mit melodischen und gotischen Atmosphären kombinieren. Zu den bekanntesten Songs gehören "The Last Goodbye", "Tears of Sorrow" und "Lost in the Shadows". EToS gilt als eine der wichtigsten Bands der finnischen Melodic Death Metal-Szene und hat zahlreiche andere Bands im Genre beeinflusst.
