Damageplan è stata una heavy metal band americana proveniente da Dallas, Texas, formatasi nel 2003. Il gruppo nacque dall'idea dei fratelli Dimebag Darrell e Vinnie Paul Abbott di avviare un nuovo progetto musicale dopo lo scioglimento del loro precedente gruppo, Pantera. I due reclutarono Pat Lachman, ex chitarrista di Halford, come cantante, e in seguito Bob Zilla al basso.
