Conception è una band di power/progressive metal proveniente da Raufoss, in Norvegia. Attiva dal 1989 al 2003 e poi riunita nel 2017, la band ha pubblicato sei album in studio, combinando influenze progressive con elementi melodici e vocali operistiche. Il loro sound è caratterizzato da riff pesanti, melodie intricate e un'atmosfera epica.
