Fat Freddy's Drop ist eine siebenköpfige neuseeländische Band aus Wellington. Ihr Musikstil zeichnet sich durch eine Fusion aus Dub, Reggae, Soul, Jazz, Rhythm and Blues und Techno aus. Gegründet Ende der 1990er Jahre als Jam-Band von Musikern anderer Bands aus Wellington, wurde Fat Freddy's Drop allmählich zum Hauptfokus seiner Mitglieder.
