Biografia

Die Foo Fighters sind eine amerikanische Rockband, die 1994 von dem Schlagzeuger und Sänger Dave Grohl gegründet wurde, der zuvor bei Nirvana spielte. Nach dem Tod von Kurt Cobain begann Grohl, Solomaterial zu produzieren, das sich schließlich in ein vollständiges Bandprojekt entwickelte. Das selbstbetitelte Debütalbum der Foo Fighters aus dem Jahr 1995 war sowohl bei Kritikern als auch beim Publikum ein großer Erfolg und etablierte die Gruppe als eine der wichtigsten Alternative-Rock-Bands der 90er Jahre. Im Laufe ihrer Karriere haben die Foo Fighters zahlreiche Grammy Awards gewonnen, Millionen von Alben weltweit verkauft und mit international renommierten Künstlern wie Paul McCartney und Norah Jones zusammengearbeitet. Zu den bekanntesten Songs der Band gehören "Everlong", "My Hero" und "The Pretender".
