Haven è stata una band indie rock inglese formatasi in Cornovaglia nel 1996, originariamente chiamata Blew. Il nome attuale deriva da un resort di villeggiatura locale. La band è stata scoperta dall'ex manager degli Smiths Joe Moss, che li ha portati a Manchester e li ha inseriti in un regolare programma al Night and Day club. Grazie alle connessioni di Moss con gli Smiths, hanno anche suonato come supporto per la band di Johnny Marr, The Healers, e altri artisti tra cui Badly Drawn Boy. Il primo singolo della band è stato Til The End EP nel maggio 2001, seguito da altri singoli, tra cui il successo UK top-75 "Let It Live" e il loro breakthrough top-30 "Say Something".
